The Restaurant

Where the lake meets the fire

Costa Fuego sits on pilings over the water at Velocity Island Park, 20 minutes north of Sacramento. It is a real restaurant, open to everyone. No park ticket needed. Come for lunch with the family, stay for sushi cut to order and a margarita on the deck while wakeboarders carve past.

We grow herbs and tomatoes on-site, build our sushi rice from scratch, and fire the pizza oven with Italian Tipo 00 flour. Serving Woodland since 2014, formerly as Edgewater Eatery.

A full bar on the water: tequila poured neat or shaken into margaritas with fresh lime, frozen drinks built for the deck, cold California beer, and rotating seasonal pours.

Dinner is coming
to the lake.

Costa Fuego is preparing for full evening service. Same fire, different light: the sushi bar, the tequila program, and the wood-fired kitchen after dark. Dates will be announced soon. Until then, the kitchen serves through the evening on event nights.
